Porsche 911 GT3 R #77 AO Racing 2025 IMSA Petit Le Mans
Story of the car:
The Porsche 911 GT3 R #77, campaigned by AO Racing, competed in the 2025 IMSA Petit Le Mans (GTD PRO class) with a special Halloween-inspired skeleton livery. The car — fondly nicknamed “Rexy” — was driven by Laurin Heinrich, Klaus Bachler, and Michael Christensen for the endurance event. The #77 has been a strong performer across the season, with Heinrich and Bachler having already claimed podiums, and came into Petit Le Mans with championship ambitions. During the race, the skeleton-liveried Porsche showed pace, even leading at points, but was unfortunately involved in contact with an LMP2 prototype about seven hours in — damaging the rear and relegating the car to an 8th-place finish.
